The Three Batteries in Your Body – Is it Time to Recharge?

The Physical Battery

If you feel:

  • Low on energy
  • Run down
  • Fatigued
  • Achy

It’s time to recharge!

Take a break and recharge your battery by getting more rest and relaxation and make sure to eat healthy foods (stay away from processed and sugary foods). Go get a massage or soak in a hot tub. Just relax and allow your body time to heal. Before you know it, you will feel revived and ready to take on the world! Okay, that was a bit extreme.

The Mental Battery

If you are experiencing:

  • Loss of focus and concentration
  • Unable to perceive information
  • Incapable to retain information
  • Develop bad headaches

It’s time to recharge!

Shut your mind down and stop what you are doing. At this point, it is difficult to get anything done. Or do you enjoy running around in circles stressed out? To each its own. My advice, take a break! Clear your mind, go for a walk, meditate for just 10 minutes, watch a funny movie or have a friend tell you lots of funny jokes. Just let go and be free!

The Emotional Battery

Feeling under the weather or:

  • Depressed
  • Irritable
  • Negative and angry
  • Weepy for no reason

Recharge!

This is the time for you to focus on you. Do something nice for yourself and make plans to go out and have fun. It’s really healthy to have things to look forward to. Do whatever it is that makes you feel at peace. Make sure the time you take is for and about you. You have to nourish yourself in order to nourish others.
